Okay I finished this a while back, but I just haven’t had the time to post it yet. I keep coming back to it though because this book was soo good. This time I did a “My Thoughts Timeline” as I read through the book for others to follow along with if they want. The characters were great and it kind of gave the same vibes as Divergent and Fourth Wing.
SPOILERS/MY Thoughts Timeline
06/03 – asshole from the inn is Wolf, why do authors make it so easy for the readers to connect the dots like that; watch it not be Wolf that would be embarrassing
06/04 (ch 5-17)- I don’t think they’re the same, cause she would’ve felt Cross’s energy as Wolf and Wolf lives near water so it can’t be Cross… I still think it’s him though.
Wait but they’re in point now, so they could be near water. Shit, he’s the general’s son. Could still be him though. It’s definitely him.
06/05- (ch 17-23) I’m excited to finally get the time to read this.

Wait but it can’t be Cross. Unless Wolf isn’t part of the uprising. Cause otherwise Cross has such high clearance that they wouldn’t need to use Wren for information like the caches. I still think Cross is Wolf though. Or maybe Wolf will just be a character that shows up to save her when she needs it most near the end.
