Okay guys, great book but I would say that acotar and tog are better than this. (Spoiler incoming), at the end I was really hoping that Rhys would lead an army over to help them fight or even that the sprites would bring a small sprite army, but neither of these happened which is fine but the war just didn’t measure up to the ones written in acotar or tog. The one in acotar was so good cause we had surprise characters included in the war, ones that Rhys and Feyre even surprised each other with, plus we have their father bringing his own human army in at the end as well. TOG, don’t even get me started, Aelin collecting debts to raise her army is insane and seeing all those partial armies coming together behind her was beautifully written. So in more cases than just the war, I would say the other books were better, but that’s not to scare readers off of this series. As I said in my last review, this book had me staring at a wall and blending reality together with her fantasy world. It’s Sarah J Maas people. Her writing is just straight up amazing no matter what. Trust in the author. These books went from one spot to another and it was crazy. Also the overlap to Rhys’ world in this was so cool to see and I’m excited for what she does with the upcoming books! I love the characters so much in this, even the side characters, maybe especially them, I loved Ithan from the beginning, we learn to love Lidia and I’m so glad we get to see that side of her and got to love her as a surprise, I actually love baxian too still insane that he’s Danika’s mate crazy work actually, I love love love Ruhn great big brother, I love all of them and am gonna miss them. Loved the trilogy, can’t wait for more Sarah J Maas, until the next one y’all.
